Meet Argo – a much loved, charming 58ft (2002 build) traditional liveaboard Narrowboat.
Very well maintained and is ready to move onto. Must be viewed to appreciate the condition of this lovely unique vessel. We’ve lived on this boat with our dog, Finn for 3 years in which time we have cruised the Stort, Lea and Grand Union canal. She is now ready for her new owners to enjoy her as much as we have, as we’ve decided to move onto land to grow our family.

*Argo is a traditional style narrow boat manufactured by welding of mild steel plate to hull, deck and superstructure constructed by Liverpool Boat Company in 2002.

* BSS expires 26/02/2027
* Last blacked in May 2023 and has epoxy resin underneath.
* Last in dry dock May 2022 where she had a detailed pre-purchase survey at Stanstead Abbotts.
* Survey can be provided upon request. All remedial work has been carried out since including three new solar panels (2025), four new batteries (2024), Two extra new radiators (2024) and a Morso Squirrel stove.
* Engine is a Barrus Shire; 4-cylinder, water-cooled, diesel engine, Engine produces 45hp @ 3000 rpm
* Full engine service last carried out March 2025.

* Eberspächer diesel heater installed 2023 with calorifier to heat water (this can also be done by running engine for 30 mins)
* Stainless steel water tank (lasts 3-4 weeks for 2 people depending on use)

* Elsan toilet with 3 casettes
