If this is too high it may put people off booking. Therefore, we recommend having this as low as you feel comfortable with.

The deposit covers if any damage is reported by the host to BoatHub within 48 hours of the checkout time. BoatHub will speak to both parties and require evidence to come to a resolution. Hosts please look into your insurance policy and make sure you are covered for short term rentals as the security deposit will only cover small incidents and any significant damage should be covered by your insurance policy.
