For sale is our lovely 31ft David Piper Narrow boat registration number 64598. The boat is currently moored at Tumbling Bay Moorings on the river Lee in Hertfordshire, and the mooring can be transferred upon approval from the mooring operator. Albert is a 1980s David Piper Narrow boat that we have had for the last two and a half years He has been to Llangollen and back since we bought him from London. His engine is a BMC 1.5 and runs well. He had a hull survey done when we bought him (passed with flying colours) and his hull was blacked about a year ago all of which we have the paperwork for. Since we bought him we have refitted the living area including a new floor, new gas hob and sink. We have also put a new alternator in, as well as fitting a 1600watt mains invertor and solar. He has radiators that are run from the engine coolant and a wood burning stove. He is a charming little boat and we hope he can find a loving new owner. Our only reason for sale is that we now live in France and can no longer use him. Listed price is with mooring approval, or can negotiate without mooring.
