We are reluctantly selling the much-loved Mudlark..

She’s a 36 foot widestyle boat (7’8” wide) with a V-shaped hull and great headroom throughout. She was designed to also be sea-worthy although we’ve just kept her to the waterways in and around London. Built in 1978 there’s not much known about her history other than that she’s been lovingly restored over the years to be a comfortable live aboard perfect for continuous cruising.

The interior is split into the wheelhouse, where the boat is steered from, with the bedroom to the aft of that. An open-plan living room/ galley to the front along with a shower room (with compost toilet) tucked away to the side.

The galley has a four-hob oven/ grill, Morco gas boiler for hot water, plenty of storage and a floor fridge for keeping your beers cold. An easy-to-use multifuel stove keeps the whole boat nice and toasty throughout the colder months. The sofa also folds out into a double bed for guests if needed. Additional storage can be found throughout the boat such as under the stairs, beneath the bed and in a front locker.

Mudlark was blacked this year, with some pit welding taken care of. A survey (available on viewing) was also carried out at the same time showing very little corrosion of the hull with thicknesses 4.6mm+. There has been no overplating carried out which shows the quality of the steel.

The engine, a Perkins P4, has been well looked after and is very reliable. 100 litre diesel tank. Raw water cooled with filter in easy access for on-the-go clearing. BSS expires October 2025.

The 12V interior system is run off two top of the range AGM batteries which are charged by two 240W solar panels on the roof. 240V needs are met by a 1500W inverter. Shore line hook up.

Mudlark comes with a restored mahogany rowing boat which can be winched up onto the boat for convenience when cruising. Great for rowing to the pub.
